The U.S. Coast Guard proposes a sole-source, one-year purchase from National Law Enforcement Telecommunication System (NLETS), Inc. for access to the NLETS network for investigative and vessel-identification queries. The service supports criminal-background, warrant, identity, and investigative queries, and the agency says it believes no other source can satisfy the requirement. This is a special notice rather than a request for competitive quotations; responsible sources may email capability and qualification information by November 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. EST.
