Eddy and Angle Valves RFP
Valve, straight fire plug, aka "eddy gate valve": bronze double-disc gate valve with a non-rising stem and pentagonal operating nut, 2-1/2" diameter national standard hose threads at both ends, female at inlet for connecting to a fire hydrant and male at outlet with a bronze threaded cap. The valve shall meet the requirements of ladwp drawing d326 (attached in vendor checklist); and be factory pressure tested at 300 psi and rated for 150 psi working pressure. "mueller/j.
