Rubber mulch removal: FEELC has four RM fall zones, covering a total area of 4,715 square feet, with an estimated combined volume of 146 cubic yards of RM. These fall zones are enclosed by a 6-inch-tall safety surfacing border. Further details can be found in Section 6: Site Plan. The Contractor shall remove all RM from the designated fall zones, ensuring the removal is as complete as possible. Additionally, the Contractor shall remove all nearby RM from the playground that has spread out from the fall zones. All rubber mulch shall be collected in appropriate containers, such as dumpsters, and transported offsite for proper disposal in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. The Contractor shall be responsible for acquiring and transporting dumpsters in accordance with Section 3.1. Prior to commencing work, the Contractor shall coordinate with the COR to determine an appropriate staging location for the dumpsters. Additionally, the Contractor shall notify the COR in writing at least 72 hours before dumpster delivery to arrange for campus access. See attached file.
