University of the Fraser Valley Strategic Plan 2026-2031
This document serves as a primer and framework for the University of the Fraser Valley's next Integrated Strategic Plan, synthesizing community input to identify future strategic priorities. The plan proposes five key imperatives: fostering applied, experiential, and community-connected learning; creating accessible, flexible, and supportive pathways for learner success; deepening community partnerships for thriving economic, social, cultural, and environmental ecosystems; preparing students, employees, and the institution for an AI-enabled future; and strengthening sustainability, well-being, and institutional resilience. It aims to position UFV as a house of transformation for changemakers, embedding foundational commitments like Indigenization, Reconciliation, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Access, Belonging, Sustainability, Well-Being, Social Responsibility, and Accountability across all strategic directions over the next five years.
